Pitt PRSSIM Project Rural Student Internship Stipend Application
The University of Pittsburgh Partners for Rural Student Success Impact & Mobility (PRSSIM) Project, funded by the U.S. Department of Education's RPED Program, is offering a chance for financial support for rural students completing an unpaid internship this upcoming summer! Our internship stipend program provides funding of up to $4,000 to help offset costs while you gain valuable experience. This stipend is designed to make unpaid internships more accessible, allow you to focus on developing your skills and building your resume. 

To be eligible, you must:
  • Complete a minimum of 120 internship hours
  • Complete the Experiential Learning Academy Course (estimated at 4 hours at your own pace)
